Real World Evidence for Post-Marketing Drug Safety Outcomes: FDA’s Sentinel System

This presentation provides an overview of the Sentinel System and describes a project in which FDA evaluated GLP-1 RA use and risk of intentional self-harm in the Sentinel Distributed Database across several descriptive and inferential analyses. It was presented at the Drug Information Association (DIA) Global Annual Meeting June 14-18, 2026.
