Description

In this report we described counts of new users of glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonists (GLP 1 RA) and dipeptidyl peptidase 4 inhibitors (DPP-4), as well as patients by overall, with diabetes, and with obesity who had a self-harm episode in the Sentinel Distributed Database (SDD). We described patient demographic and health characteristics among these cohorts.

The study period includes data from October 1, 2015 through April 30, 2023. We distributed this request to six Sentinel Data Partners on October 13, 2023.
