Description
In this report, we describe counts of individuals with evidence of an orally ingestible systemic sodium fluoride medical product (either single-ingredient or sodium fluoride containing dietary supplement(s)) in the Sentinel Distributed Database (SDD) Medicaid dataset, and reported distribution of exposure codes among those individuals. We counted individuals with a dispensing, the number of days on which any dispensing occurred (i.e., episodes), and the number of dispensings.
The study period includes data from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2021. We distributed this request to one Sentinel Data Partner on July 3, 2025.
