    Description

In this study, we assessed drug utilization patterns of inhaler triple therapy new users among a target population of triple therapy‐naïve patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) who had evidence of exacerbations despite dual therapy maintenance treatment in the Sentinel Distributed Database (SDD).

We distributed this request to two Sentinel Data Partners (DPs) on October 9, 2023. Report 1 contains patients with fee‐for‐service medical coverage and Part D drug coverage. In Report 2, patients with Medicaid coverage were included. The study period included data from October 1, 2017 to December 31, 2022.
