    Description

    Day 1 of the Tenth Annual Sentinel Initiative Public Workshop was held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Convened by the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy at Duke University and supported by a cooperative agreement with FDA, this two-day event brought the stakeholder community together to discuss a variety of topics on active medical product surveillance.

    Topics included an update on the state of FDA’s Sentinel Initiative; Sentinel’s expanding role as a national resource for evidence generation to improve public health and care delivery; and opportunities to advance development of Sentinel’s data resources and analytic capabilities.
